Unlike Selective Pallet Racking systems which are anchored permanently to the floor, stacking pallets operate completely independently—requiring no anchor bolts, no wall drilling, and no floor fastening. This outstanding feature makes them widely preferred across warehouses, manufacturing plants, production workshops, distribution centers, and supermarkets.

A standard stacking pallet rack consists of the following main components:

Base Frame:
Four corner columns made of round or square steel tubes, engineered to withstand vertical compressive loads when stacked multiple tiers high.
Top Frame:
Depending on the type of goods stored, this can be wire mesh, perforated steel plates, or support crossbeams.

Stacking height is constrained by post-load capacities and structural stability risks. As the stacking height increases, the load capacity per tier should be proportionally derated.
